Hi errybody. I’m writing to inform you that I’m migrating my blog to Substack, and will no longer be posting content on SpudMedia.net.
Why? Because Substack is better for growing the brand. It’s a blog site with social media algorithms, pretty much. I’m not working two jobs anymore so I’m making a stronger effort to keep these emails consistent, and I would rather do it on a platform that drives views. WordPress doesn’t do that. They make me do all the work myself.
Speaking of WordPress, they won’t let me export my subscribers. That’s just not very nice of them. Now you and I both have extra work to do if YOU, Dear Reader, want to keep receiving these emails.

I’ve also started another blog over there about rock n’ roll history. Last week I wrote about the casino fire that inspired the Deep Purple song Smoke on the Water.
