For six long months, we have toiled under the boot of our oppressive editor. He has crowned himself king of this punk scene by dominating the narrative. For too long we have read his words and groaned at his jokes. No more! The downtrodden of Boise have risen up and ousted the editor and his tyrannical regime! At long last, Spud Underground belongs to the people!
There shall be no more objectification of women. No longer will we print racial slurs such as “fag” and “retard.” No more shall we print quotes of false prophets. These pages will forever be a place of safety, peace and love. It is a magazine by the people, and for ALL people.
In this issue, Comrade Logan urges us to listen to our hearts. Comrade Alex went to one Hell of a metal show. Comrade Chad talks about “trip primers.” There are pictures sent in by the best proletariat photographers, and many more words of common wisdom.
Thanks for reading, and power to the people.
